9 March 2008

£10 / £9 ICA Members.

Considering shooting on HD? With the use of HD on the rise, cinematographer Zillah Bowes leads this workshop to discuss the practical and aesthetic reasons for using HD and the options available in shooting both fiction and documentary. She will compare HD to film and discuss the implications for the filmmaking process.

Zillah Bowes trained at the National Film and Television School, where she was awarded the Kodak Scholarship. Since then she has shot fiction, documentary and art films, including Enemies of Happiness, filmed in Afghanistan, which won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance in 2007.
