A production from New York University's Undergraduate Department of Drama's Experimental Theatre Wing. Hélène Cixous' play is set in central China during the 10th century. Facing a huge flood, a king decides to destroy the dam and sacrifice small villages in order to save the nearby city. Local peasants form a brigade of drummers to keep watch and warn the villagers.
