Ursula Mayer works primarily with film and photography. Her films are shot in interiors, often using iconic architectural locations, and focus on the interaction of female figures. Her work here, The Crystal Gaze, considers the representation of women through the twin poles of classical Hollywood glamour and the modernist avant garde.
