Locws International works with international artists to create temporary visual arts projects for public spaces across the city of Swansea, projects in which place and context are integral, and which employ a broad variety of locations. Future projects include Locws Projects 08 in October 2008, in which Wales-based artists Jennie Savage and Richard Higlett will create new works for the Swansea Festival of Music: Savage will present audio stories from the city in response to the expansive Swansea Bay; while Higlett will put together a canine choir to perform a musical concert to commemorate local hero Swansea Jack. Locws International 4, planned for Spring 2009, will see ten international artists create temporary works in public sites.
