The second annual ICA Gala was another huge success, breaking all the established rules for year on year growth in an event of this kind. Nearly 500 guests, combined with the support of event partner SpinVox and One Object.One Lifetime project sponsor Veuve Clicquot, helped the ICA raise £240,000 - a 400 per cent increase on the 2007 debut. The full list of speakers for the night included Peter Serafinowicz, Michael Nyman, Sally Phillips, Kwame Kwei Armah, Nigella Lawson, Natalie Press, Jodie Harsh, Gavin Turk, Shami Chakrabarti and Harry Enfield, and the evening was hosted by Graham Norton.
