ICA Gala 2007
The hugely successful first annual ICA Gala dinner.
- Debut Gala fundraiser raised £60,000 for the ICA on eve of 60th Anniversary
- 10 Pecha Kucha presentations entertain 250 ticket-buying guests
- Speakers included Joanna Lumley, Jefferson Hack, Jon Snow and Johnny Vegas
- Auction of money-can't-buy objects and experiences raised key funds
- Held in stunning main hall at RIBA
The first ICA Gala fundraiser introduced a new audience to the hugely successful Pecha Kucha presentation format, and to the history and artistic heritage of the ICA. Special guest speakers on the night were Grayson Perry, Simon Schama, Beardy Man, Kathy Lette, Rageh Omaar, Joanna Lumley, Johnny Vegas, Jon Snow and Jefferson Hack.
