Talk Show / exhibition

6 May 2009 - 31 May 2009

Free.

The exhibition component of Talk Show features a variety of works that investigate the human voice in subtle, humorous or unexpected ways. The lower gallery and concourse include video works by Pierre Bismuth, Manuel Saiz and Frances Stark, graphic works by Chris Evans, Ryan Gander and Falke Pisano, a sound piece by Seth Price and a large wall drawing by Adam Pendleton. The lower gallery will also provide the context for a number of the live events, including all of the workshops and discussions. Other works on display include videos by Robert Ashley and Robert Filliou, shown alongside the residencies in the upper gallery; and a video by Mark Wilsher, shown in the reading room.
