La Barbara is a pioneer of expanded vocal techniques, exploring the mechanics of sound-making, including the dissolution of language into ululations and glottal clicks. This event is a rare opportunity to hear La Barbara perform a group of her seminal works, pieces that immerse the voice in the conditions of the body.
