Effective Speaking in Groups
28 May 2009
Free.
This workshop is for people wishing to develop their confidence when speaking to groups. It is based on the concept of 'speaking circles', a relationship-based approach developed by American speech coach Lee Glickstein. This method is able, even in a short space of time, to give participants a high level of support that encourages them to take risks and develop their own speaking style. The workshop is run by Rachel Everard and Carolyn Cheasman, respected speech and language therapists based at City Lit in London.
Running time: 3 hours.
Booking required. Please call the Box Office on 020 7930 3647. Tickets must be collected 30 minutes before the event starts, or they will be released.
