This South Korean super-production sends a surging mass of individuals, gangs and armies off in hot pursuit of a treasure map in 1930s Manchuria. The action is handsome and inventive, the pace is full-throttle and director Kim Jee-woon proves that he's one of cinema's most exciting storytellers.
