African Shorts Programme

Short films from the 10th BFM International Film Festival: the award-winning Survivor [Dir Nicole Volavka], a tale of friendship among London's night cleaners; fast-paced Area Boys [Dir Omelihu Nwanguma], where lifelong friends Bode and Obi decide to sever the ties to their life of crime for good; sensual Movement (R)evolution Africa [Dir Joan Frosch, Alla Korgan], the riveting stories of nine African choreographers who unveil soul-shaking responses to the beauty and tragedy of the 21st century. The programme will be followed by a Q&A with the directors (tbc).
