**** "An impressive, athletic leap of the imagination" The Guardian
Following his controversial debut, The Great Ecstasy of Robert Carmichael, Thomas Clay returns with this brooding, mysterious film. Clay studies the relationship between a Danish film-maker and his Thai girlfriend then, as the film shifts from black-and-white to colour, embarks on a new narrative, following a mafia enforcer searching for his brother. Nods to Lynch, Antonioni and Apichatpong Weerasthakul abound here, but Clay remains his own man, a director to follow because of, rather than despite, his uncertain destination.
There will be a Q&A with producer Joseph Lang, hosted by Rebecca Jameson after the screening on 12 June.
