December's BFM Film Club film, set in Trinidad and Tobago, takes viewers on a rollercoaster of love, life and lessons learned. Tribes centres around Jamahl, an undefeated stick-fighter and popular radio DJ, when an unexpected twist in his personal life threatens to destroy everything. Finding support from his best friend and family to help him through Jamahl realises it’s not how hard you fall, but how you get up that counts.
