Live Weekends: May 2010
Over three extended weekends in May the ICA is presenting ‘Live Weekends’. These dynamic programmes of live activity - set to take place across a variety of spaces at the ICA - have been conceived in collaboration with guest producers David Gryn, Erin Bryne, Tim Etchells and are aimed at re-activating Live Arts at the ICA.
These first three weekends will present expanded theatre, screenings and music on weekend one, experimental approaches to architecture, story-telling and its effects on communities – especially the young – on weekend two; and performance and interaction focused on the discursive nature of performance on weekend three.
The Live Weekends herald a commitment to exploring the possibilities of live work in cross art form contexts and show the ICA once again working as an important force in the field of performance.
