We are very pleased to announce a special folded limited edition photograph by Oscar Tuazon, generously created by the artist for the ICA on the occasion of his solo exhibition. The print, published as an edition of 50 is the latest in a series of folded works by Tuazon and the first that the artist has made available as an edition.
Tuazon’s edition for the ICA depicts a wasteland in darkness with a makeshift sign in the foreground. The process of folding lends the print a sculptural quality, interfering with the surface of the photograph and making the scene harder to decipher.
Oscar Tuazon was born in 1975 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He moved to Paris in 2007 and co-founded the artist-run collective and gallery, castillo/corrales. His numerous solo shows include Kunsthalle Bern (2010), Centre Künstlerhaus Stuttgart (2009) and David Roberts Foundation London (2009).
Pendragon Fine Art Frames are the ICA’s official framing partner – frame your limited edition with them and receive a 15% discount (contact Vicky Steer for details).
