In contrast to Laure Prouvost’s sensuous work of complex racing sound, texts and images presented in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2010, Charlie is a light, fresh and ironic short video composed around her grandfather, a conceptual artist.
A presenting artist in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2010, Prouvost has been part of the LUX Associates programme and has already built a solid reputation as part of the London art scene having exhibited in Tate Britain’s Light Box, at John Latham’s Flat Time House, at the BFI and at MOT Gallery.
Charlie is on a video loop from 2pm.
