Andrea Büttner works in a variety of media, sometimes using old-fashioned items such as woodcuts and pressed flowers, and is especially interested in the area where art and religion overlap. Recently the artist has spent time with a group of Carmelite nuns, drawing them at prayer and producing with them a video, Little Works, which documents their thanksgiving through craft.
