The discussion will be focusing on re-enactment as a method for exploring the relationship between the mythic status of an original event and its staged reconstruction to question the relation between revolt and institutions.

Panellists are: Artist Jo Mitchell, Vivienne Gaskin (commissioner of this and previous re-enactments), Michael Morris (co-director Artangel & commissioner of the original in 1984), Chris Bohn (editor at The Wire), Sean O'Hagan (journalist). The discussion will be chaired by Suhail Malik (lecturer in Postgraduate Fine Art, Goldsmiths).
