From Portugal, Deolinda bring a flamboyant stage show, ukelele, cavaquinho, braguesa, classical guitar, double bass, all led by dreamy, storytelling singer Ana Bacalhau. Their mixture of yearning, delicate fado and Cape Verdean blues has been a huge success in Portugal; their new album Canção ao Lado is fresh out in the UK on World Connection.
Oliver Mann is an Australian singer with an extraordinary voice who has been compared to Antony & the Johnsons, Tindersticks and Klaus Nomi. He’s over solo so it’ll be a stripped back set with acoustic guitar, harmonica and voice.
