"Someone must have been telling lies about Josef K. He knew he had done nothing wrong but, one morning, he was arrested." The Trial, Franz Kafka
The life of Josef K. rapidly changes after his arrest - not knowing who has accused him and realising that anyone could be against him, he falls into paranoia. It seems true that there is someone following him, someone watching him, someone preparing his trial. Somehow it seems to Herr K. that maybe he is the only one who finds his case extraordinary.
