Inviting a new generation of artists and curators to present projects.
A cumulative lists of all artists and projects involved in Nought to Sixty.
Nought to Sixty presents sixty projects by emerging artists based in Britain and Ireland over six months from 5 May to 2 November 2008.
Most of the artists in Nought to Sixty are under thirty-five, few of them have had significant commercial exposure, and in most cases this is their first opportunity to mount a solo project in a major public space.
The season is not intended to announce any new generation or style, but to build up a multifaceted portrait of the emerging art scene in the two countries, and to provide a space for exchange.

Inviting a new generation of artists and curators to present projects.
Redux opened on Commercial Street, London, in November 2003 with two projects by Giorgio Sadotti. Its remit was to re-present works that may have been overlooked in the ten-year period since the London art scene has been the focus of international media attention. Inviting a new generation of artists and curators to present projects, Redux offered a space for thinking about the construction of myth. Projects with the likes of Peter Suchin, Urban Drift and Shezad Dawood extended the invitation to curators and critics, while off-site projects included: Zoo Art Fair, London; Magazin 4, Bregenz, Austria; and Utopia Display Platform, NABA, Milan. Publications such as Transmission and Slimvolume were launched, complementing the exhibitions programme curated by Peter Lewis and Makiko Nagaya at Commercial Street until 2006. Redux Projects is currently in preparation to become the London base of the MA Curating Contemporary Art Programme, Leeds Metropolitan University, starting October 2008, and operates as an office and online project until that date.
