Richard Foreman

24 May 2008

"I believe the accidental, and the rigorous, controlled development of what it provides, to be the hidden source of much that is most adventurous and radical in contemporary art. I find it very exciting to be able develop the implications of these strategies with the young artists participating in the London Accidental Festival." Richard Foreman

Richard Foreman, a major figure in the avant-garde theatre and founder and director of the Ontological-Hysterical Theatre in New York, has written, directed and designed a number of productions across the US and Europe which have contributed enormously to the development of the experimental theatre that we know today. At this rare opportunity, Foreman will discuss his work from his productions in New York and his most recent International Bridge Project.
