Speed Dating for Artists

We all know about speed dating, some of us have even tried it, but what are the chances of finding someone you really want to spend more than a few minutes with? Well, they're much increased if you're an artist looking for love at tonight's very special ICA Speed Dating for Artists event. Those taking part talk to someone for four minutes at a time, the crucial difference is that each of you will bring a piece of your own work - a drawing, a sculpture, a design, and mp3, anything you can carry in to the ICA - to talk about. At the end of the evening, after a complimentary glass of wine or two, any pairs of artists who have ticked each other's boxes (that's not a metaphor) on the speed dating card will be put in touch with each other via email. After that, who knows what romantic adventures await? Please note we are hoping to branch out beyond heterosexuality in future ICA speed dating events.
