Korean director Kim Yong-gyun delivers a gripping horror film in his adaptation of the 1948 Powell and Pressburger classic. Here, an elegant pair of shocking pink shoes is found in an underground station. Soon the abandoned and possessed shoes reveal the overpowering and destructive effect they have, turning female fantasies of glamour into violent and bloody nightmares.
