VSPRS Show and Tell + director Q&A

VSPRS Show and Tell, Dir Sophie Fiennes UK/France 2007
VSPRS Show and Tell, Dir Sophie Fiennes UK/France 2007
8 December 2008

Alain Platel's VSPRS has been called "the weirdest, most shocking and provocative dance performance you will ever see." The artists deliver an extremely physical and graphic performance immersed in religious and sexual imagery. Sophie Fiennes' mesmerising documentary captures ecstasy and trauma in the performance, with filmed conversations between Platel and his dancers bring an extra layer of insight and intimacy to the performance. Fiennes will be here to talk about her work after the screening.
