In the year 2077, Japan has withdrawn from the world community after defying international treaties on bio-technology. Now nobody outside the country has any idea what's happening within its fortress borders. The US sends an elite team of commandos to bring back Japan's secrets. Stunning animated sci-fi from the team behind the ground-breaking Appleseed and Sori, and the director of Ping Pong. Despite being indebted to such genre classics as Escape from New York, RoboCop, Mad Max 2 and Dune, Vexille is a provocative and original fantasy which will appeal to anyone looking for state-of-the-art action adventure, animated or not.
