R.E.M. play a one-off show at the Royal Albert Hall and a series of special events at the ICA.

On the eve of their eagerly anticipated new studio LP Accelerate, the ICA is proud to present R.E.M. in a special series of events at the ICA over the Easter weekend, culminating in a unique celebratory concert, the first time R.E.M. have ever played at the Royal Albert Hall, with special guests Robyn Hitchcock, Duke Spirit and Foals on Monday 24 March 2008.

The ICA Members' lottery is now closed, and winners have been informed by email.

R.E.M. Day at the ICA
Easter Monday 24 March

11am – A pre-release playback of the new R.E.M. album 'Accelerate'
12noon – An exclusive screening of Vincent Moon's R.E.M. film Six Days with a Q&A with Vincent and Michael Stipe plus Vincent's five R.E.M. Takeaway Shows.
2pm – R.E.M. on film: Two hours of classic, rare and unseen R.E.M. footage.

Tickets for ICA events cannot be bought.

All profits from concert ticket sales will go to the ICA, a non-profit arts institute and registered charity.
