Soup Session

28 November 2007

Presented by the Club.

Soup is a very simple idea with very simple aims: to unite creative people, minds and talents through a bowl of homemade soup. Presented by Jessica Antwi-Boasiako (Creative Director of Soup Session), Soup is a networking party that fuses a sense of home, creativity and friendship in an exclusive showcase of film, music and design.

While November's Soup is cooked by Jessica Antwi-Boasiako and her special guest, established creatives rub loaves and shoulders with those yet to be discovered. During the evening, our ears will hum with live performances by The Bookhouse Boys, Scully and the One Taste artists: Jamie Woon, Elova and MC Xander. Our eyes will bulge from the quirky imagery produced by audiovisual collective Lie-ins and Tigers, aka Sam Kerr, Walter Newton and Russell Weekes.

Like the story of Stone Soup, where everyone contributes what they can (bread, creativity and friendship), Soup feeds, connects and celebrates the work of the creative community and its associates to form bonds that are both organic and lasting. With our minds and bellies full, we end the night saying, "Much love, let's spread it..."

In collaboration with Vaudeville Cider and Sabrosa luxury ice cream.
