The Dance of Reality

21 Aug 201515 Jan 2017

The Dance of Reality marked the triumphant return of visionary Chilean filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowsky after a 23-year hiatus. In this radiant autobiographical film, a young Jodorowsky is confronted by a collection of the compelling characters that contributed to his burgeoning surreal consciousness.

Blending his personal history with metaphor, mythology, and poetry, The Dance of Reality reflects Jodorowsky’s philosophy that reality is not objective but rather a ‘dance’ created by our own imaginations.
