Art Night: 180 Strand

180 Strand

180 The Strand is a landmark Brutalist building built in 1971, located in the heart of London, which acts as a centre for creative industries, housing fashion, art and broadcast studios.

In a section of this iconic building overlooking the River Thames, Celia Hempton creates a new theatre set-like environment that combines abstracted landscapes and bodies, relating specifically to the source of the River Thames.

Presented in collaboration with The Vinyl Factory.

Accessibility: This venue is a disused office building which has some uneven flooring. Once inside the building a lift provides step free access.
