Italian artist and filmmaker Gianfranco Baruchello accompanies his pioneering film composition Verifica incerta (Uncertain Verification) (1964-65), constructed by collaging multiple feature film clippings. Predating many works that utilise found footage, Verifica incerta (Uncertain Verification) remains an influential work for recent and new generations of artists. The screening also includes several of Baruchello’s other short works and is followed by a Q&A with the artist.
