The Bruce Lacey Experience + Jeremy Deller & Nick Abrahams Q&A

25 Jan 2013

The Bruce Lacey Experience is an affectionate portrait of Britains most overlooked visionary, the artist, magus, robotmaker, musician and all round 'silly bugger' Bruce Lacey, co-directed by Nick Abrahams and Jeremy Deller, winner of the 2004 Turner Prize. Over the years, Lacey has been managed by Lenny Bruce, been the subject of a film by Ken Russell, had a song written about him by Fairport Convention, and made an appearance in the Beatles film Help... It gives an idea of what an event-filled life Bruce Lacey has had that none of the aforementioned manages to make it into the Abrahams and Deller film!

Special Q&A
Followed by a Q&A with Abrahams and Deller, chaired by Luke Turner of the Quietus website.
