The benefits of globalisation are vigorously debated in the economics profession. But the balance sheet rarely accounts for the more disturbing aspects of the global economy, from international mafia networks to terrorism and slavery.

Discussing this dark side of globalisation will be Misha Glenny, author of McMafia, and Loretta Napoleoni, author of Rogue Economics. The debate will be chaired by Neal Lawson, chair of Compass and columnist for The Guardian.
