Eyes Wide Open

18 Nov 2009

It’s raining in Jerusalem. Aaron, a young married Ultra-Orthodix father of four, reopens his father's butcher shop after his recent death. Out of the rain walks the strikingly beautiful young man Ezri, and Aaron begins to discover passions he never knew existed. A sensitive, respectful and convincing exploration of desire and faith, this feature debut by Haim Tabakman received a standing ovation at this year's Cannes festival.
