Fenix 11.23 + Q&A

4 Jun 2013

Noam Chomsky said that the world should know about the ordeal of Èric Bertran. In the autumn of 2004, at the age of fourteen, Èric created a website inspired by Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix to defend the Catalan language. One night, thirty federal officers from the anti-terrorist unit in Madrid burst into his house and accused him of cyber-terrorism for sending an email to a chain of supermarkets in Catalonia requesting the labelling of their products in Catalan. Joel Joan and Sergi Lara present a straightforward telling of this true story, drawing an excellent performance from Nil Cardoner in the lead.
