A funny, tender and unpredictable new British film. Jamie Bell plays the title character, a smart, imaginative teen outsider who can't get over the death of his mother. Further disturbed by his father's new relationship, Hallam runs away to Edinburgh where his habit of spying on other lives leads him into a romantic adventure that forces him to grow up fast.
