Previously at the ICA - Films
20 Dec 2010
ICA Lab is extending Lab space to 2 short filmmakers during the LSFF, who wish to develop and workshop their work. An international script/project development Lab, and a global community of creatives with a demonstrable track record that develop and make feature films, television drama and comedy, theatre, opera and radio drama. The ICA Lab offers peer to peer networking, professional support and a safe space for creative experimentation.
Writers and directors link up with actors, crew/HOD's and producers to work on scripts/projects within the creatively safe confines of the ICA Lab community.
Short filmmakers may submit their short script – up to ten pages – for consideration by the Lab panel, which includes filmmakers, producers and writers and the ICA Lab ambassador, Gurinder Chadha. Two scripts will be selected, offering 2 filmmakers the space and support to workshop their ideas with professional actors and peer review.
To be considered, filmmakers should download a submission form: ICA Lab Submission Form (Word Doc); ICA Lab Submission Form (PDF); and send it along with the following information to firstname.lastname@example.org :
• Electronic version of an original short fiction script (10 pages max)
• 200 word synopsis
• Brief credit list for filmmaker (optional)
All work will be treated as confidential. The deadline for submission is non-negotiable.
Filmmakers will be notified of their success by 31 December 2010. Workshops will take place at the ICA on 9 January 2011.
