Milosevic on Trial

18 Mar 2008

Former Serb leader Slobodan Milosevic died of a heart attack on 11 March 2006. His death brought to a premature end the first trial in history of a former head of state before a United Nations court, where 'the Butcher of the Balkans' was being tried for 66 counts of crimes against humanity. Film-maker Michael Christoffersen has edited down 2,000 hours of trial footage to create a taut and stirring narrative documentary about this ground-breaking case.
