Play/works Family Workshop: Making Real: Field Operation 2

19 Mar 2011

At last month's workshop we constructed a temporary cinema in a room tucked away at the top of the ICA. This month we will be re-imagining the history of the building and its surroundings by hosting our very own 'Nashian Tea Party' in the beautiful Nash and Brandon Rooms on the second floor of the ICA.

We will be appropriating this beautiful space by building hybrid opulent furniture, concocting costumes and assembling the trappings of our own fantastical 'Nashian Tea Party' inspired by the history of the building and its architect, John Nash.

This event forms part of Playworks' 'Field Operations' workshop series, where each month we host an unusual event in a different part of the ICA to test how we can transform the building's public spaces through play and temporary use.
