We will be holding a preview event for teachers and educators to accompany the For the blind man… exhibition , with ICA assistant curator Charlotte Bonham-Carter. This is a chance to hear more opportunities for schools and colleges whilst enjoying a glass of wine with colleagues.
For the blind man... begins with the premise that art is not a code that needs cracking. Celebrating the experience of not-knowing and unlearning, the artists in this exhibition understand the world in speculative terms, eager to keep art separate from explanation. Embracing a spirit of curiosity, this show is dedicated to the playfulness of being in the dark.
A visit to the exhibition would actively support teaching the art and design curriculum at key stages 3, 4 and 5 as well as foundation studies.
