Tenebrae

22 Jan 201125 Jan 2011

Once included on the notorious ‘video nasties’ list, this beautifully bloody Dario Argento thriller is a clear influence on new release Amer. An American author in Rome finds himself stalked by a serial killer who’s taking inspiration from the writer’s violent novels. Includes a number of the Master’s greatest setpieces, including the legendary crane shot that takes the viewer over a rooftop and into a murder scene. This is a new HD version of the film, released on DVD by Arrow Entertainment.

Tenebrae will be screening from digibeta, due to the unavailability of 35mm prints or HD material. Tenebrae is in English and uncut.
