Two experimental ensembles from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance present a concert of two radically different approaches towards contemporary performance:
The first, Stompy's Playground, is Ben Corrigan and Pete Hill's mixed jazz and classical band playing contemporary electronic music from artists such as Flying Lotus, Bonobo & DeadMau5. The second, the Inquietus Project, is Andreas Papapetrou's mixed music and dance group that break down the ritual of the concert, deconstructing the sounds and setting of the preceding performance.
The ensembles are devising and rehearsing material publicly during the day from 12pm to 6pm (free entry), followed by a public concert at 7pm.
In partnership with Trinity Laban.
