Among the featured documentaries at this month's Uncut forum are two films by Stephen Rudder, chronicling black British culture from the advent of slavery: Your History and its shaping of contemporary Britain, to the cultural impact of the Notting Hill carnival Sequins, Soca and Sweat.

Also screening are a number of excellent short animations by recent graduates from the Royal College of Art's MA, Pecatum Parvum and Notes From The Sanatorium (Asya Lukin) alongside Magnolia and Otherside (Ellie Land) covering a variety of animation techniques and subject matter.

Adding an international flavour to events A Small Place is a romantic comedy by German Filmmaker Rainer Niermann.

Uncut is programmed and presented by Joel Karamath.
